Almuñecar - Rio Seco - Avocado Walk
Wednesday 28th of February 2024 11:00 AMThis is a lovely route up the hills to the west of Almuñecar. You get some great views as you climb and you see a lot of new hidden valleys. Elevation Gain: 279
Distance: 7.7 Km.
LONG DESCRIPTION
This is a very good walk in the hills behind Almuñecar. After getting out of town the start of the walk goes fairly steeply and constantly uphill giving a good cardiac workout. On either side of the route there are a lot of fruit trees predominantly avocados but there is also papayas, oranges etc. The walk finishes with a stretch along the Rio Seco and there is a good view of the old aqueduct.
